Rules
1.0 Selection
1.1
The budget is £50m.
1.2
Formation can be either is 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2 or 4-5-1.
Each team must include eleven different players.
1.3
There is no restriction on the amount of players to be selected from any one premiership club.
1.4
You may submit your team any time BEFORE the start of the season, and are free to change it, without charge or penalty at any time before the start of the season.
Should you wish to keep your original submission then the only way to make any changes would be to use your transfers (see Section 3.0)

2.0 Scoring
2.1
All points used are as printed in the Daily Telegraph Fantasy Football.
All scores are taken from games played in the Barclays Premiership and the FA Cup.
2.2
Points are calculated over a game week.
The game week runs from Tuesday to Monday.
Players transferred in and/or out whilst having played in a game week, will not score points until the following game week.
2.3
Each player scores points in all premiership & FA Cup games.
Points are awarded thus:
Appearance in starting XI +2
Appearance as substitute +1
Key contribution to goal +3
Goal scored +5
Booking -1
Sending off -3
Penalty miss -5
Own goal -3
The following points are for goalkeepers and defenders only:
FULL MATCH
Clean sheet +4
Concede 1 goal +0
Each additional goal conceded -1
PART MATCH
Clean sheet +2
Concede 1 goal +0
Each additional goal conceded -1
The following points are for goalkeepers only:
Penalty save +5
Defenders can still earn their four-point bonus for a full match clean sheet but will not face an additional point deduction for the first goal they concede in a match. Instead they will lose a point for each goal they concede after the first.
3.0 Transfers
3.1
You may make a total of 10 transfers over the season and there is no restriction on when you do so or from what positions.
3.2
Players transferred in and/or out whilst having played in a game week, will not score points until the following game week.
3.3
Transfers can be done at any time but be aware of the points scoring in a game week (section 2.2).
4.0 Cup Competition
4.1
The cup competition will start in the New Year.
Total prize funds are £120 of which £80 to winner and £40 to runner-up.
In the New Year all teams will be put into a hat and drawn out to compete with another team on a knockout basis over particular week's points. The winner then progresses to the next round.
This runs around the same time as the FA Cup, but it is NOT based on the FA Cup matches results.
5.0 Golden Boot
5.1
This year there will be a prize for the team at the end of the season that has scored the most goals and also for the team that comes second.
5.2
Goals will be dictated by the telegraph for the weeks scored.
If the goals panel changes any persons goal after the results have been published then the goal will still count.
5.3
Total Prize winning for the team with the highest amount of goals scored will be £80.
2nd place will receive £40.
5.4
In the event of two or more teams finishing on the same amount of goals, then the prize money for that position will be shared out.
6.0 Prizes
6.1
The prizes are as follows:
1st Champions League £400
2nd Champions League £200
3rd Champions League £150
Premiership League finish from £120 - £40
Championship Winner £30
League 1 Winner £25
League 2 Winner £20
Cup Competition Winner £80
Cup Competition Runner-Up £40
Golden Boot Winner £80
Golden Boot Runner-Up £40
Monthly Prize £30 (split over 10 months)
6.2
In the event of more than one team having the same points then:
The particular prize will be shared equally between those teams.
Manager of month decided on the team with the highest number of points in that month, if more than one team has the same points then the prize will be shared equally between those teams.
If the teams in the Cup Competition (see section 4.0) finish on the same points each round, then they will have a play-off on the following week's results, until a winner is found.
If the teams in the Golden Boot Competition (see section 5.0) finish on the same points at the end of the season, then the prize will be shared equally between those teams.
